The numbers for the third quarter are in. And they are... surprisingly flat in distribution. No single dominant result. Parity has come to lastgoogle, too.

Honorable mention:
religion.beloblog.com (10)
ytmnd.com (9)

and the always popular:
bigtitsroundasses.com (8)

These have been filtered of all the crapass bot-generated spam to provide you only the purest, rocky-mountain-high lastest domains. See lastgoogle code wiki for more details.

A bit behind in our annual monthly tallies. The clay pigeon for June goes to the greatwallclimbing.com forums, which scratched and clawed their way to the top of the bottom of the heap in a frenzy of phentermine-fueled mayhem. somethingawful.com only finished 20th (41 hits), but maddox's Best Page in the Universe manned up for sardonic iphone-hating websites everywhere with a strong second-place showing.

June was the last full month before the new spam filter was applied so I'm sure the July results will prove much more edifying.

Open source comes up big again. A sign that Lastgoogle should move to PostgreSql? pgfoundry.org claims the coveted Last Straw for May. All were last results at some point for the query 'None'.

The Australian Maritime College Students Association takes home April's Foam Wedge in a landslide thanks to the energetic efforts of a bunch of spambots spewing viagra. To AMCSA and all our winners, I say, "Great work and better check that spam filter."

The Top 20 lastgoogle domains for 2006. There were 14,963 total queries. Of course, some time after August, the lastgoogle lastgoogl-a-ma-jig broke and stopped logging domains. So this is more like for the first half of 2006. But everything is back up and working for 2007!

In the midst of the World Cup, football.guardian.co.uk at #2 makes perfect sense. But why blog.daveastels.com at #1, I wondered. Sifting through the data, I think I've figured it out:

For a while anyway, it was the last Google result you got when you searched "test".
